Membership Coordinator
Full-Time with Benefits

New Hampshire PBS has a unique and rewarding opportunity for an individual who is interested in learning more about the development field, or would like to broaden their development skill set. We are seeking an organized, team oriented individual with customer service experience to maintain and increase our membership base and provide fundraising support to the Director of Individual Giving and Donor Relations.

Position Overview
The Membership Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide exemplary customer service to our donors and members and to work with our vendor to manage a complex membership system / database. 
General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - respond to all donor/membership inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Gift Processing – process new donations and manage existing member accounts
  • Donor Retention Program – update payment information, renewals, and processing of all gifts
  • Donation Reporting – Perform data hygiene projects; review donation reports for accuracy and detail
  • Development Marketing Support – Provide support for on-air fundraising, direct mail, digital solicitations, canvassing, telemarketing, events and major gifts.  Perform tasks pertinent to the NHPBS KIDS Club including planning and execution of KIDS Club events, identifying members, and member correspondence
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and a multi platform integrated system is highly desirable
  • Problem resolution and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally is essential
  • Ability to prioritize and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Dependable and a Team Player
  • Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience considered

Television Host - Granite State Challenge
Part-Time – Seasonal

One of the longest running high school quiz shows in the country is looking for an energetic, engaging, and outgoing on-air host. Candidates should be comfortable ad-libbing, engaging with players and a live audience, and thinking quickly on their feet during live-to-tape game play. Candidates should also be comfortable working with a teleprompter, be able to keep up a high-level of energy during a production day that will include question review and practice readings, shooting four shows live-to-tape as well as show promos, and live studio audience warm-ups.

The series is currently produced at the NHPB studio in Durham, NH during weekends in January. We are looking for someone willing to make a multi-year commitment to the series.

In addition to hosting the weekend games, the host must also be available at mutually agreed upon times to record promotional spots, participate in the team selection event, Super Sunday, held in November, and be available for an audition at the NHPBS studio.
