Nashville Getaway Raffle Rules and Regulations
Purchase one or more raffle certificates during the New Hampshire PBS Nashville Getaway Raffle and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a 4-night trip-for-two to CMA Fest in Nashville, TN June 4-8, 2020. The NHPBS Nashville Getaway Raffle certificates are $100 each. Only 150 certificates will be sold. Odds of winning are 1:150 or 1 in the total number of certificates sold. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont, 21 or older. On-line raffle certificate sales begin at 12:01am on Friday, January 3, 2020 and end when all 150 certificates have been purchased or at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2020. All times referenced for the NHPBS Nashville Getaway Raffle are Eastern Standard Time.
ELIGIBILITY: Employees of New Hampshire Public Broadcasting, Country Music Association, Inc. (“CMA”) and their immediate family members are ineligible.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winner will be selected in a random drawing on Facebook live at 10am on February 25, 2020 and announced on nhpbs.org. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of NHPBS and will not be returned. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. If potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing.
INCENTIVE: Purchase a raffle certificate by Monday, February 17, 2020 by 11:59 pm and you’ll qualify for an early-bird drawing for $1,000 cash. Participants in the early-bird drawing are automatically entered in the grand prize drawing. The winner of the early-bird drawing will be selected in a random drawing at 10am on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 on Facebook Live and announced on nhpbs.org.
PRIZES: Grand prize is a TRIP FOR TWO to Nashville, TN for CMA Fest®, June 4-7, 2020. Prize includes: Two Roundtrip airfares, four nights hotel, two four-day CMA Fest tickets and $500.00 cash. NHPBS reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value in the event of the unavailability of a prize.
GENERAL: By entering the raffle, participants agree that New Hampshire Public Broadcasting, CMA and their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the raffle. Contributions are not tax deductible. Prizes are not interchangeable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. No substitutions for a prize are allowed. New Hampshire Public Broadcasting may use winners’ names and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation and by entering, participants consent to such use.
IMPORTANT WINNER INFORMATION:
TAX OBLIGATIONS: All appropriate taxes and expenses as a result of winning any prize are the winner's responsibility. For any prize valued at $600 or more, an IRS form 1099 with the above stated value will be sent to the winner at year-end. Winners will be required to submit to NHPBS IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification).
RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the NHPBS Nashville Getaway Raffle, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.
